Fast and Easy App to Switch HomeMatic Objects, even from your Apple Watch.
Everyone who ever made something with home automation might already become aware of the HomeMatic CCU1 or CCU2 and all HomeMatic devices. Theare several other apps on the Apple App Store which lets you use the HomeMatic CCU1 or CCU2 from within an iOS App. All these apps might be a bit to heavy for some special use cases and so I developed HM-Switcher. It’s as simple as the name suggests. You define the server address, the HomeMatic devices and then you can immediately switch your devices on and off. Nothing more nothing less. In it’s current state there is no SSL implemented so I would not recommend to use it over the internet. It’s meant for home usage.

Instructions:
- The regular XMLRCP API must be accessible, so please configure your CCU1 or CCU2 Firewall accordingly
- Tap on the the Settings button in the top bar and configure the server IP and Port (which is 2001 for HM Wireless Devices)
- Next, create a switchable object by tapping the plus sign in the top bar. Now press the button "Add device from CCU" and chose a device or enter the devices HomeMatic ID including the channel (e.g. LEQ1234567:1) manually. Enter a name and a group (if needed) and youre ready to go. With the group setting you can also sort the appeariance of the devices in the UI)
- If you have the XML-API addon installed on your CCU1 or CCU2 you can enable that in the settings and then also add programs to the device list and run these on the CCU1 or CCU2
- Repeat the last step as often as you like for all your switchable devices

- If you want to modify or delete an existing device, just do a longpress on the device icon and choose the edit or delete option
